This is a cam retaining plate for your gen III or IV LS engine which has been modified to enhance the oil flow to the back of the timing gear. This in turn increases longevity and decreases wear. We recommend using this part in any application with a power adder or where endurance is key. The part itself was developed by Robert Yates of Robert Yates Racing engines and is being sold through us, Straub Technologies.
